Best Western Inn Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were spacious and nice, although a bit crowded with limited walking space. The cleanliness exceeded my expectations. The service was very friendly and helpful, even recommending authentic Mexican restaurants to try. However, the price seemed high for a two-night stay, and I was disappointed with the lack of available water for purchase. The location was convenient for accessing downtown and the freeway, but the surroundings were noisy at times. Despite some shortcomings, the stay was enjoyable overall.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was impressed with the high-profile and spacious room which was clean and looked very welcoming. However, there were immediate disappointments as the floor was extremely dirty, littered with crumbs, leaves, and dirt. Despite notifying staff and requesting immediate cleaning, they informed me it wouldn't be possible until the following day. Additionally, a charge was made to my card before check-in without prior notice.
